He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hadley German and Ellen Elizabeth German (Shull); his wife Lela Don German; his sister Erma Luckey; his son Randall German; his daughter-in-law Shelley German; and his great grandchild Evan Zucker.

He is survived by: his children, Craig German of Edgar, NE and Deborah Zucker (David) of Deshler, NE; his daughter-in-law Cathy German of Raymore, MO; his grandchildren, Jeffery Zucker (Kristi), Michael Zucker (Nicole), Stephanie Frager (Andrew), Levi German (Beth), Lynda O'Dell (Jonathan), Richard German (Carter) and Raymond German (Carolyn); and his brothers, Richard German (Millie) of Springfield, MO and Rodney German (Maureen) of Ft. Worth, TX. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
