He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Fangmeyer and Louise Fangmeyer (Potthast); his wife JoAnn Ruth Fangmeyer of John's Lutheran Church; his siblings, Kenneth, Arno Fangmeyer, Karen Fangmeyer, Arleta Mesloh and Lillus Stanosheck; his daughter-in-law Laurie Fangmeyer; and his granddaughter Rachel Fangmeyer.
He is survived by: his family, Deshler Broom Factory (Deshler), Eigenberg Trucking and Montgomery Wards; his children, Randy Fangmeyer (Tasha) of Fremont, NE, David Fangmeyer of Edmond, OK, Audrey Hoops of Deshler, Nancy Foster (Dan) of Colby, KS and Janet Eilts (Brad) of Larned, KS.; and his siblings, Dale Fangmeyer (Jeanette) of Lincoln, NE, Allen Fangmeyer of Kearney, NE and Marsha Fangmeyer (Jim Wiest) of Gibbon, NE..
