He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Marquart and Gertrude Marquart (Duensing); his wife Marj; his siblings, Verlen and Shirley; his brothers-in-law, Michael and Robert; and also, George and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Scott and Amy Flint (John). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (535 3rd St, Deshler, NE 68340).
