She was predeceased by: her husband Ivan Vagts; her siblings, Eugene, Leon Kraus and Lorraine Janda; her siblings-in-law, Laverne Kraus, Doris Kraus and Bernard Janda; her nephew Timothy Janda; and her niece Bonnie Kraus.
She is survived by: her children, Cindi Hunter (Darryl), Kathy Hitch (James), Daryl Vagts and Dale Vagts (Sue); and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Kraus. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
