He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry D. Nickell and Gladys Nickell (Foreman); and his brother Don Nickell. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Stern May; his daughters, Christi Roth of Lincoln and Keri Nickell of Bloomington, MN; his granddaughters, Larisa Oatman (Dylan) and Lexie Roth (Joshua Arrants); and his sister-in-law Judy Nickell. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the family for future designation.
