He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Metzler (Allison); his wife Peggy Metzler; his father Darold Metzler; his parents-in-law, Dewey and Nona Shawver; and his brother-in-law Duke Shawver.
He is survived by: his children, Travis Metzler (Brenda) of Farnam, NE and Stephani Stout (Matt) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Amber McMichael (Dillon), Brittni Schultz, Dylan Schultz (Isabela), Mikinzie Schultz, Broedy Metzler (Leigh Anne) and Justin Stout Tontitown (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Ryker, Grayson, Nathan McMichael, Meadow and Dylan Schultz, Jr.; his sisters, Pam Beck (Jim) and Becky Luebbe (Scott); his sisters-in-law, Debbie Augenstein (Rick), Bonnie Pueppke (Dale) and Patsy Bowser; and his close friends, Sara Moser, Ashley and Megan Moser. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
