He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Conn and Henrietta Conn (Millet); and his sister Debra Mintle. He is survived by: his wife Marna Conn; his children, Greg Conn (Kerri) of Wausa, NE, Cara Shell (Marshall) of Maryville, MO and Michelle Conn of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Andrew Conn (Sadie), Austin Conn, Trevor Shell, Megan Cushing (Mark), Trent Shell and Tommy Teson; his great grandchildren, Calvin, Cooper, Charlotte, Caylee and Chloe; and his sister Linda Oestmann.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (209 N Concord St, De Witt, NE 68341). A prayer was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in Galen's memory to the Tri-County Athletic Department.
