We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2020, at the age of 76, Galen A Plihal of De Witt, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Plihal and Lucille McGuire Plihal; his brother-in-law Dr. Ronald Marshall; his nephews, Scott Marshall and Jeffrey Detweiler; his father-in-law Roland Hueske; and his foster son Bryce Scherling.

He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Olson (Paul) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Logan and Delaney Olson; his sister Judy Marshall of Manhattan, Kansas; his siblings-in-law, Stan Hueske (Mary) of Plymouth and Beth Detweiler (Gary) of Lincoln; his mother-in-law Vernelle Hueske of Beatrice; and his wife Bev Plihal.
