He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil E. Houser and Mayme M. Kozak Houser; and his brother-in-law Chuck Coatney. He is survived by: his sister Beverly Coatney of Lincoln; his niece Julie Coatney of Peru; and his nephew Charles Coatney III of Omaha.

Memorials will go to the United Methodist Church at Daykin.
