He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Laux and Minnie Laux (Wist); his sisters, Marcille Laux, Aggie Davis and Maryann Cotner; his granddaughter Shelby Laux; and his brother-in-law Frank "Fritz" Shamonsky.
He is survived by: his former wife Georgia Tillman; his sons, Charles "Chuck", Jr. of Lincoln, NE and Jim (Steph) of Lincoln, NE; his sisters, Shirley Shamonsky of Pennsylvania and Susie Eichenberger (Kenny) of Pawnee City, NE; his brothers-in-law, Roger Cotner of Lincoln and David Davis of Utah; and his close friend Dianna Buckminster of Falls City. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
The family prefers memorials be made to family choice for later designation.
