With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil Vrbka of David City, Nebraska, born in Brainard, Nebraska, who passed away on July 19, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaclav Vrbka and Rose Vrbka (Samek); his wife Maxine Klein; his sister Marquita Hanzl; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Hanzl, Jerome Kovar, John Kosch, Sheila Vrbka, Irene Vrbka and Jean Kosch.
He is survived by: his children, Scott (Jeanne) of Lincoln and Susan Donoghue (Daniel) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Kevin Donoghue of Columbus, Jared Donoghue of Columbus, Nathan Donoghue of Columbus and Allison Vrbka of Lincoln; his siblings, Lawrence (Mary Ann) of Glenwood, James of Bossier City, Louisiana and Geraldine Kovar of David City; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Klein (Janet) of North Platte, George Klein (Emily) of Chadron, Ronald Klein of Norfolk and Rose Klein of Wichita, Kansas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
