She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Houdek and Mary Houdek (Ruzicka); her husband Leonard Fiala; and her son Larry Fiala. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lance Fiala (Dana) of Strang, Nebraska, Kevin Larson (Brittany) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Laci Liebeck (Aaron) of Streetsboro, Ohio, Alicia Micek (Aaron) of Lincoln and Cody Loyd (Jordan) of Grapevine, Texas; her great grandchildren, Raegan (Derrick Buescher), Taryn, Layton, Callie, Carter, Addison, Sutton, Collin, Hadley, Hudson, Emma and Cassidy; her daughter Deb Edgar (Mike); and her brothers, Marvin (Ann Houdek) and Tom (Ann Houdek).
During the pandemic, Regina sold her home in Geneva in May 2021 and made the decision to remain in Texas, living with her daughter, Deb (Mike) Edgar.
