He was predeceased by: his parents, John Behrns and Millie Behrns (Grossnicklaus); and his brother-in-law Jim Puetz. He is survived by: his wife Donna Wrede of David City; his children, Shelly Baumert (Paul) of Elkhorn and Brian Behrns (Tracy) of David City; his siblings, Judy Puetz of Columbus, Pat Behrns (Suzi) of Blair, Barb Fry (Dave), Paula Kriz (Dennis), Rick Behrns (Cindy), Lisa Behrns and Beth Behrns of Greenville, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Hunter Behrns, Claire Baumert, Neely Behrns, Kate Baumert, Ava Baumert, Kamryn Behrns and Ben Baumert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
