We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2024, Mary Sue Kirby of David City, Nebraska, born in Slayton, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mary Sue farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary Sue is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Royal Carlson and Margaret Carlson (Holland); her husband John Kirby; and her siblings, Nancy Stidger and Robin Carlson.
She is survived by: her stepmother Geri Carlson; and her children, Kelly Kampschneider, Kerry Kirby, Chris Kirby (Karol) and Tracy Kirby. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family.
