It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard R. Havranek of David City, Nebraska, born in Oneill, Nebraska, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Havranek and Mary Havranek (Jirak); and his wife Marie Hegr of Leonard's Catholic Church. He is survived by: his children, Charlene Steager and James Havranek (Maricel); his brothers, Francis Havranek (Marty) of Fremont and Don Havranek of O'Neill; and his grandchildren, Lukas, Ella Havranek, Janelle, Jacob Gustamante and Melissa Silva.
