We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2020, at the age of 90, Laverne Kozisek of David City, Nebraska, born in Chapman, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kozisek and Rose Kozisek (Husak); his sons, Mark and Michael; his siblings-in-law, Maude Ausdemore (Joe) and Roger Bredahl; his stepfather Peter Schmit; his stepsiblings, Eugene, Donald Schmit, Dorothy Moyer and Lorene Kallenbach; and his nephews, William Kozisek and Stanley Matthies.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean of Council Bluffs; his sons, Patrick (Shannon) of David City, James (Cheryl) of David City and Brian (Mistyn) of David City; his grandchildren, Adam Miller, Emily Kozisek, Kinsey, Madison, Caden, Gretchen Kozisek, Lucas Kozisek, Jacey Napier (Brendan), Kendra Kozisek, Faith Kozisek and William Kozisek; his great grandchild Mia Barry; his son Christopher Kroesing (Nancy) of David City; his siblings, Maxine Bredahl of Columbus, Gene Kozisek (Claudia) of Garden City, MO and William Kozisek (Betty) of David City; his brother-in-law Fred Matthies (Gertie) of Council Bluffs, IA; and his stepbrother Orville Schmit of Columbus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Following the state COVID-19 guidelines and due to increasing COVID positive numbers, we will comply with social distancing seating and limited room capacity at the Rosary Service and Funeral Mass.
