He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lyons and Adele Lyons (Brockmoller); his daughter Mary Ann; his brother LeRoy Lyons; and his brother-in-law Gary Otoupal of McCool Junction.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rerucha; his sons, Dan Lyons (Lisa) of Norfolk, Chad Lyons (Kim) of McCook and Cary Lyons (Stacia) of Morton, Illinois; his grandson Trent Lyons (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Sophia, Ava, Kali Curl (Jake) and Colton Lyons; his sister-in-law Dolores Lyons of Lincoln; his brothers, Robert Lyons of Hastings and Ron (Monica) of David City; his siblings-in-law, Gerald, Theresa Rerucha of Kalamazoo, MI and Janice Otoupal of York; and also, Landon, Kinlee, Jacob Lyons, Luke Lyons (Jordan), Matthew Lyons, Vincent Lyons and Bryce Lyons.

With COVID precautions in place, ALL attending the rosary and the Mass will be required to wear masks.
