It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Semin (David City, Nebraska), who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Semin and Helena Semin (Steiner); his wife Joan Semin; his grandson James Schaub; his sister Joyce Zywiec; and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence "Ziggy" Zywiec, John "Jack" Oberhauser, Richard "Butch" Oberhauser, Geraldine "Zoucha" Semin and Karen "Choutka" Oberhauser.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Semin of Bellwood, Kimberly Hamik (Eric) of Kearney, Eric Semin (Karie) of David City, Beth Schaub (John) of David City, Jean Meister (Ryan) of David City and Kate Bailey of Elkhorn; and his siblings, Jane Mick (Dwane) of Columbus, Dianne Beringer (Keith) of Bellwood, Pat Gilsdorf (Galen) of Humphrey, Jerry Semin (Geri) of Columbus, Carol Sliva (Jim) of Columbus, Shirley Nelson (Brad) of Columbus and Mary Prochaska (Chuck) of Kearney. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
