It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Coufal of David City, Nebraska, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dolores Coufal to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stara and Mary Stara (Pecha); her husband Eugene L. Coufal (Gene); and her siblings, Marcella Stara, Adeline Jakub (Stara), Eugene Stara, Martha Glynn (Stara) and Sally Siroky (Stara).
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Coufal Hansen (Michael) of Waterloo, NE and Jim Coufal (Ronaldo Vieira) of West Hollywood, CA.; her close friends, Sharon Coufal Hansen (Michael) and Jim Coufal (Ronaldo Vieira); her brothers, Albin Stara, Don Stara, Ken Stara and Ernie Stara; and also, Jeff Hansen (Nadine), Lisa Hansen Rutherford (Dolan), Rhylan Rutherford and Kinsley Hansen.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (580 I St, David City, NE 68632). A rosary was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Anthony Parish Hall (405 Pine St, Bruno, NE 68014).
