She was predeceased by: her parents, James J. Svoboda and Rose Svoboda (Samek); her husband Larry J. Sloup; her daughter Mary Sloup; and her brother Dennis "Don" Svoboda.
She is survived by: her children, Peg Montag (Brad) of Norfolk, Pam Vavrina (Rick) of Abie, Jamy Sloup (Jenny) of Columbus, Linda Vandenberg (John) of David City, Mike Sloup (Sheila) of Columbus, Mark Sloup (Tayler) of David City and Brad Sloup (Chana) of David City; her sister Dee "Toots" Landholm (Mark) of Columbus; and her siblings-in-law, MaryAnn Svoboda of David City and Dennis Sloup (Judy) of Seward. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS AND PLANTS: Memorials in Care of the Family A Lunch will be served at the Butler County Events Center at the fairgrounds, immediately following burial.
