He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank C. Ekstein and Lillian Ekstein (Masek). He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Pierce (Steve) of Oakland, Elizabeth Kuncl (Dick) of Lowell, Francis Ekstein (Joan) of Ulysses, John Ekstein (Joyce) of Otoe, Teresa Ekstein of Lincoln, Joseph Ekstein (Andrea) of Dwight and Grace Campbell of Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
