She was predeceased by: her husband Ray; her parents, Jake VerMaas and Mary VerMaas; her parents-in-law, William and Agnes Vanis; her brother Tony VerMaas; her siblings-in-law, Harry (Lucille), Marion (Marge), Jim Vanis (Elise), Kenny DeWispelare (Dorothy), Marcy Brezina (Bob), Wilma DeWispelare (Gerry) and Mae Zegers (Lee); and her son-in-law Troy Scholz.

She is survived by: her cousin Cathy Hajek; her sons, Jacob (Jay) and Jay; her grandsons, Ryan (Lexi), Chase (Mikayla) and Brayden; her daughter Geri Shipley (Tim); her granddaughter Morgan Marshall (Evan); her daughter Barb Scholz (Barb); her grandson Jon (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Scotland, Callahan and McKenna; her granddaughter Natasha (Micah); her son Brian (Heather); her grandsons, Cade, Kai and Crew; her sisters-in-law, Marge Vanis and Dorothy DeWispelare; her aunt Rose Vanis; and also Ray. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
