He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Cunningham and Wanda M. Cunningham (Orr); and his brother Gary Cunningham. He is survived by: his son Brody Cunningham (Katrina) of Davey; and his siblings, John Cunningham (Carol) of Omaha, Ivan Cunningham of Lincoln and Juanita Cunningham of Davey.

Rather than flowers, memorials are preferred to Capital Humane Society or the Lincoln Food Bank.
