He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rexilius and Ida Rexilius (Berlin); his wife Bernadine; and his siblings, Violet Hockinson, Otillia Heiser, Lodema Heiser, Fern Olson, Donald and Dennis Rexilius.

He is survived by: his son Michael Rexilius of Davey, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Snyder (Lincoln), Clarence "Butch" Clemens of Palmdale, CA and Richard Clemens of Norfolk, NE.
