He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Otto, Sr. and Pearl Halsey (Davison); and his siblings, Darrell, Loy Otto, Jr., Virgil Halsey and LaVonna Bolling.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Sue" Halsey of Dannebrog; his children, Bill Halsey (Jill Beilke) of Dannebrog and Buffy; his son-in-law Joel Holling of Grand Island; his sisters, Norma Peterson of Texas, Nina Jean Clark of California and Evalena Brittell of Neligh, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Bill Halsey, Jr., Macy Guerrero (Jordan), Brenden Holling, Joey Holling, Jasmine Halsey, Beau Beilke, Brock Beilke and Lindsey Rodriguez (Jesus); and his great grandchildren, Zaiden, Ryleigh, Avery, Addison and Aubrey Guerrero.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
