She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Nelson and Nellie F. Nelson (Simons); and her brother Ricky Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Blake of Dannebrog; her children, Brian Blake of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jennifer (Eric Prusa) and Becky (Dustin Linden); and her siblings, Jim Nelson of Aurora, Judy (Steve Tunnell) and Janice Wicht of St. Libory. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (107 E Nile St, Cairo, NE 68824).
