He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Dethlefs and Mildred Dethlefs (Jensen); and his brother Leonard Dethlefs. He is survived by: his former wife Teri Alexander; his daughter Kerri; his wife Beverly Dethlefs of Dannebrog; his children, Russel Dethlefs (Liz) of Lincoln, Jeff Wissing (Tammy) of St. Paul, Randy Wissing of Lincoln, Kelli Greathouse (Matt) of Giltner, Michaela Bahensky (Jill) of Lincoln, Shirley Schultz (Gregg) of Grand Island and Candy Jakubowski (Jon) of Ashton; his brother Don Dethlefs (Audrey) of Brule; his sister-in-law Deloris Dethlefs of Ravenna; and his sister Dee Jerabek (John) of Ashton. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great- grandchildren.
