He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Koebernick and Esther Koebernick (Hauf); his former wife Marsha Sandin; his brothers, Bob and Neil; his son-in-law Jeff King; and his sisters-in-law, Julie Koebernick and Gretchen Woolery.
He is survived by: his wife Laverne Koebernick of Dakota City; his children, Katie King Lower (Joe) of Bronson, Doug Koebernick (Carry) of Lincoln and Mike Koebernick (Sarah) of Lincoln; his stepdaughters, Gloria Denise of Charlotte and Tina Gooch (Stan) of Marian, Illinois; his grandchildren, AJ, Tasha, Mason, Madison, Max, Jackson, Sam and Jon; his stepgrandchildren, Danny, KeAnn, Mollie and Logan; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Adelyn and Laynie.
In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Optimist Club or the South Sioux City High School Athletic Fund.
