He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sagert and Martha Sagert (Stegman); and his siblings, Rienhold (Joyce), Harold, Amy Latozke (Edward), Annie Weiss (Louis) and Dorothy Menke (Alvin).
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Virginia Sagert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
