We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2024, at the age of 73, John Joseph Mullen of Dakota City, Nebraska, born in Sioux City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Mullen and Doris Mullen (Gales); his wife Pamela Theeler; his siblings, Jana Allen, Micheal Mullen and Thomas Mullen; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Heutinck, Patricia Theeler and Steve Theeler (Kay Theeler).

He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Kilzer (Jason) of Sioux City and Karrie Alvarez (Juan) of Sioux City; his grandchildren, Krystina, Max, Sam and Amelia; and his sister Kathy Heutinck of Kansas City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
