He is survived by: his wife Virginia McDaniel of Dakota City, NE; his children, Melody Cole, Martha Whitmore (Chad) of Akron, IA, Mary Seibold (Craig) of Sioux City and AJ Sagert (Heidi) of Lake View, IA; and his brother Kenneth Sagert. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
