It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Andersen of Dakota City, Nebraska, born in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Williams and Hazel Williams (York); her husband Marvin M. Andersen; her siblings, Douglas, Earl, Lois and Patricia; and her great grandchild Brant.
She is survived by: her children, Judy, Johnny, Jimmy, Joan and Joyce; her brothers, Donald and Gary; and her great grandchildren, Beau Andersen, Zachary Andersen, Graham Brownlee, Samuel Deilke, Tyler Gilbery, Cameron Lyman, Jackson Lyman, Easton Schultz and Rylan Schultz. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution can be made in her name to the Dakota City United Methodist Church.
