He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Swanson and Una Marie Swanson (Lierman); and his siblings, Evelyn and Dean. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Swanson of Curtis, NE; his children, Lorri Martin (Henry) and Terry Swanson (Kim); his brother Rodney Swanson (Marilyn) of Cozad, NE; and his grandchildren, Nathanial Martin (Jenna) of Hutchinson, KS, Wesley Martin (Shelby) of Hays, KS, Tyler Martin (Kaely) of Herndon, KS, Joshua Swanson (Erin) of Hendersonville, TN, Kira Austin (Aaron) of Whitehouse, TN and Kinsley Ramey (Doug) of Greenbrier, TN.
