He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Orie and Thelma Jo Brown (Edwards); his brother Donald Brown (Francis); his brother-in-law Art Werner; his sisters, Shirley Nash (Paul), Phyllis Alexander (Tex) and Coleen Hart (Paul); and his sister-in-law Linda Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Tammy Moore (Bill), John Ellis (LeAnn) and Barry Ellis (Kimberly); and his siblings, Elaine Werner and Will "Arlon" Brown. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel - McCook (607 Norris Ave, McCook, NE 69001).
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be sent to Culbertson Fire & Rescue.
