It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George L. Baker of Culbertson, Nebraska, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Baker and Maude Baker (Meadows); and his sisters, Francis Stigall, Jane Smith and Linda Young.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Baker (Howell) of Culbertson; his children, George Baker, Jr. (Heather) of Stokesdale, NC, Kimberly Gessell (Mike) of Claremore, OK and Adriann Smith (Spencer) of McCook; and his siblings, John Baker (Shirley) of Kernersville, NC, Glen Baker (Angel) of Kernersville, NC and Brenda Lane of King, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of extended family.
