She is survived by: her former husband Freeman Homer Boelter; her husband Dennis Raymond Lowin of Crofton, NE; her children, Marilyn Poppe of Yankton, SD, Patty Wheeler (Bo) of Crofton, NE, Gary Boelter (Thalia) of Crofton, NE and Doug Boelter (Sheila) of Algona, IA; her stepdaughter Tammy Moeller (Matt) of Madison, NE; her sister Marlene Bromley of Tilden, NE.; her grandchildren, Jamie Poppe (Kristy), Jason Poppe (Erica), Jessica Christensen (Wesley), T. J. Wheeler (Rachael), Sherri Wheeler (Sasha Babic), Tara Wheeler, Beau Marie Huerta (Jesse), Justin Wheeler (Tracy), Matthew Boelter (Maggie Carter), Travis Boelter (Jenna), Kayla Boelter, Zach Boelter and Jenna Boelter; and her stepgrandchildren, Shae Vanschoiack (Tyler) and Rhaegen Frey (Logan).
Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton, SD; Phyllis' wishes were for memorials to be directed to the Heartland Humane Society, 3400 E. Highway 50, Yankton, SD.
