She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Kathol and Marcella Kathol (Schmitt); her husband Eldon Dean McFarland; her parents-in-law, Ray and Eileen McFarland; and her siblings-in-law, Pete Hynes, Bill Cover, Dennis McFarland, Susan McFarland and Raeleen Junck.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Matthew McFarland, Bailey Pinkelman, Noah McFarland, Alex Pinkelman, Joseph McFarland, Tyson McFarland, Preston Pinkelman, Jonathan McFarland, Simon McFarland, Jessica Phelps, Madison McFarland, Vanessa McFarland, Adrianna McFarland, Katie McFarland, Morgan McFarland, Ellasyn Pinkelman, Amelia McFarland, Brooklyn McFarland and Maggie McFarland; her children, Dan McFarland of Crofton, Travis McFarland (Stephanie) of Lincoln, Jon McFarland (Michelle) of Phillips, Karen Pinkelman (Chad) of Stromsburg and Shane McFarland (Lisa) of Fergus Falls, MN; and her siblings, Marlene Hynes of Crofton, Janet Pinkelman (Mike) of Verdigre, Audrey Cover of Lincoln, Larry Kathol (Diane) of Lincoln and Bruce Kathol (LuAnn) of Flippin, AR. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
