He is survived by: his wife Joan Schroeder of Crofton, Nebraska; his children, Dawn Jongeling (Mark) of Babcock Ranch and Travis Schroeder of St. Cloud, Minnesota; his stepchildren, Kim Cameron of Bloomfield, Nebraska, Ronald Galvan III (Heather Barron) of Goodyear and Carrie Harris (Jason) of Yankton; and his siblings, Bernadette Lange (Edward) of Hartington, Nebraska, Alice Klug of St. Helena, Nebraska, Dorothy Schmidt (Arlynn) of Elk Point, James Schroeder (Renee) of Yankton, Allen Schroeder (Cindy) of Fordyce, Nebraska and David Schroeder (Sally) of Irene. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
