She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Zelenka and Clara Zelenka (Wielage); her former husband Lester Parks; her husband Morris Teal; her son Michael Parks; her sister Dorothy Rees; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Rees and Lyle Simpson.

She is survived by: her children, David, Lisa and Julie; her grandchildren, Alex Haar (Sean), Samantha Flewelling (Nick), Nate Parks (Audrey), Kellie Aksamit (Austin), Cory, Bryon Coffey (Sarah), Erin Schepers (Matthew), Nick Coffey (Haley), Jerad Reetz (Aleece), Jennifer Reetz (Brian), Amanda Easley (Garret) and Nicole Gierhan (Cale); and her sister Norma Simpson.

Memorials in lieu of flowers will be donated to Crete Volunteer Fire Department.
