She was predeceased by: her husband Reinhold; her parents, Veronica Balas and Stefan Balas; her siblings-in-law, Robert Hier and Sarah Balas; her daughter-in-law Mary Schnell (Dunekacke); and her grandson Zechary Alden Schnell.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Tripp (John), Kathy Wigington (Tom), Judith Haas, Douglas Schnell (Karen), Alan Schnell, Carolyn Holmes, Reinhold Schnell (Cheryl), John Schnell (Roxanne) of Mead Ne and Stephan Schnell (Margaret) of Bowie Texas; and her sisters, Mary Senzino and Helen Hier. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church building fund in Crete, Nebraska.
