It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammie W. Day (Crete, Nebraska), born in Fairbury, Nebraska, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Safranek of Crete, NE; his children, Tracy of Ashland, Kelly (Randy) of Dorchester, Cory of Lincoln and Michael (Jessie) of Clatonia; his brothers, Paul (Deb) of Pickrell and Robert (Cathy) of Plattsmouth; his brother-in-law Ron (Diane) of Crete; and his grandchildren, Kyla and Collyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
