He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Chandra Filip (Josh Palm), Lindsay Filip (Matt Fort) and Ashley Olmsted (Andrew); his stepdaughters, Kala Peyton and Melissa Maciejewski; his grandchildren, Izac, Pierce, Stryder, Lena, Jaxson, Elijah, Sophie and Liam; and his siblings, Robert Filip and Bonnie Duba (Alvin). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are in care of the family for future designation.
