He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard I. Cooper and Bertha E. Cooper (Bliss); his wife Nola Jean Sidlo; his sisters, Helen Whitmore, Mary Lambrecht, Mabel Skjelver, Georgia Cooper, Ada Blankenbaker, Clara Williams and Sarah Jepson; and his brothers-in-law, Malcolm Lambrecht, Vernon Jepson, Bob Skjelver, Hyatt Whitmore and Owen Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Tompkins (Russ) of Omaha, Marla Wademan (Don) of Crete and Dr. Michael Cooper (Connie) of Norfolk; his brother Les Sidlo (Peggy) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Matt Tompkins (Wendy) of Omaha, Ben Tompkins of Logan, IA, Jessica Graumann (Aaron) of Apple Valley, MN, Jake Cooper (Tessah) of Omaha, Adam Wademan of Los Angeles, CA and Alyssa Wademan of Lincoln; and his great grandchildren, Rylee, Madison, Josephine Graumann, Elliott and Evan Cooper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
