He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jasa; his children, Dana Stark (Justin) of Syracuse, Daryl Nelsen (Karen) of Fremont, Natalie Schneider (Daniel) of Syracuse and Chrystal Gard of Omaha; his siblings, Donald Nelsen (Virginia) of Valentine, Gordon Nelsen (Ruth) of Valentine, Larry Nelsen (Joyce) of Halsey, Merrell Nelsen (Kristi) of Custer and Cindy Hamre (Andy) of Panama City, Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Hogue of Falls City, Anita Reimer (Norman) of Beatrice and Paul Jasa (Lynda) of Table Rock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
