He is survived by: his children, Catherine A. Newsham (Thomas B. Martinez) and Mark A. Messenger; his wife Karen A. Messenger (Kreycik); his children, Cathi Newsham (Tom Martinez) of Topeka, KS, Leon Messenger and Lincoln Ne; his grandchildren, Genni Newsham-Boyles (Mitch), Brent Newsham, Jody Kreycik (Phuonh) and Joye Dicharry (Joel); and his brother-in-law Joe Kreycik (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
