Sheila Childs Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheila Childs of Creighton, Nebraska, who passed away on June 16, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ruhlman and Lois Ruhlman (Misfeldt); her brother Rod Ruhlman; her grandparents, Fritz, Ruth Misfeldt, Morris and Myra Ruhlman; and her mother-in-law Helen Childs.

She is survived by: her husband Rich Childs of Sidney, NE; her children, Gina Schwindt (Roger) of Syracuse, NE, Troy Moser (Sara) of Tekamah, NE, Kim Bokamper (Dan) of Syracuse, NE and Chelsi Pehrson (Nate) of Grand Island, NE; her grandchildren, Shelby Schroder (Kyle) of Palmyra, NE, Tyler Schwindt of Lincoln, Allie, Griffin Bokamper, Paige, Sadie, Skyler Pehrson, Ashley and Megan Moser; her great grandchildren, Ryker, Haidyn and Reese Schroder; her siblings, Pam Synovec (Roger) of Plainview, NE and Randy Ruhlman (Barb) of Marietta, OK; her aunts, Leota Turner of Sioux Falls, SD, Beth Bowar of Faulkton, SD and Ruth Yada of Redfield, SD; her uncle Leroy Misfeldt of Pipestone, MN; and her nephews, Shaun Waldow of Plainview, NE, Chad Waldow (Christy) of Norfolk, NE and Troy Cunningham. She is also survived by several great nephews and nieces and cousins.
