He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilmes and Margaret Wilmes (Vogt); his son-in-law Doug Hornback; his brothers, Henry (Beata Wilmes), Jack (Ruth Wilmes), Paul Moser, Willie Fanta, Eldred Pitt and Dennis Wagner; and his parents-in-law, Leo and Rose Wagner.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene Ann Wagner; his great grandchildren, Keaton Hornback, Caden Wilmes, Emery, Easton Hunt, Avery, Valerie Wheatley and Tonya Holub; his sisters, MaryAnn Moser of Eugene, OR and Marlene Fanta of Creighton; and his parents-in-law, Rita Pitt of Creighton, Butch Wagner (Rita) of Creighton, Virginia Wagner and Jody Balzer of Franksville, WI.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family will be present form 5:00 to 7:00 p. m. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
