It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Nelsen (Creighton, Nebraska), who passed away on May 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, N. Chris Nelsen and Grace Nelsen (Carpenter); his wife Meldean Bertwell; and his brother Francis. He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Kniep (Maurice) of Lincoln and Diane Cowden (Randall) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Joel Jay, Justin Kniep, Kaleb, Michelle (Gregory) and Jordan Cowden; his great grandchildren, Jillian, Claire, Miles Kniep, Lewis, Morgan and Kathrine Gregory; his sister-in-law Rosalie Nelsen; and his friend Mildred Dorr. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
