He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Krepel and Mildred Krepel (Skala); his wife Esther Kruse; his daughter Barbara; his grandson Garrett Jones; his siblings, Leon Krepel (Jeanine), Leona Nadrchal (Ed), Helen Waterman (Louis), Milada Craig (Martin) and Bess Jeffrey-Tinker (Royal); and his siblings-in-law, Mathilda Fuelberth (Walter), Selma Lemke (Dale), Lois Koenig (Myron) and Sharlyn Kruse.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Krepel, Jr. (Carey) of Creighton, David Krepel (Mary) of Kingfisher, Mark Krepel (Beth) of Crofton and Donna Jones (Jeff) of Crofton; and his brothers-in-law, Herman Kruse of Creighton and Lyle Kruse (Linda) of Omaha. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
