He is survived by: his children, Chris (Julia), Maegan and Steven Heimes; his grandsons, Evan and Aaron; and his siblings, Don (Pat), Dennis, Lee (Liz), Lynn Melanson (Dan), Cindy Somer (Hal), Terry (Lisa) and Brad Heimes (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
